The VTS IEEE International Conference featured workshops on embedded systems, automotive cybersecurity, and open-source development, offering insights into industry trends and practices. Participants presented IEEE papers on VTS-related innovations, fostering constructive discussion.
BEYOND IMPORTS: STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING A ROBUST DOMESTIC BATTERY SUPPLY CHAIN FOR INDIAN EVS
The presentation discussed strategies for building a domestic battery supply chain for Indian EVs, highlighting the lifecycle of batteries, the emission benefits of EVs over ICE vehicles, and the growing demand for lithium.
IEEE REGION-10 ROBOTICS COMPETITION STAGE 1
Judges from industries and academia evaluated the teams, fostering innovation and sparking new project ideas among students. The event also provided opportunities for participants to interact with industry experts and expand their knowledge in robotics.

On February 28, 2024, during Prakalp, IEEE PES, IAS, and other IEEE clubs hosted a membership drive event testing participants' knowledge in electrical and electronics, briefed on the benefits of IEEE membership and its importance for engineers.

ASEB IEEE Student Branch
ASEB is one of the vibrant student branches in Bangalore. It is located in the heart of the city and easy to commute. There are 10 student branch chapters and affinity group. Over 200 student members including over 50 graduate student members. Faculty mentors and advisors have wide experience of volunteers. On an average over 40 events in a year are organized by our volunteers. Some of the unique events like Hackathon, ICPC, RoboRun have been recognize widely. We have a dedicated office where volunteers conduct and organize meeting and have discussion.

One of the unique group is formed to attract fresher is IEEE Early Young Engineer (I2 )Innovation Group. Students (member or not) are allowed to make/design anything that they want. Hardware, instruments and facilities are provided to them. It is found that many non IEEE students become members looking at the opportunities.
